We have a lot to tell!!!

There’s been quite a lot going on over the last two months. Now we would like to use the time to tell you what we have been up to.

As every year, the CSS of the Swiss Beagle Club took place in August. Of course we were there again this year. On Saturday evening we drove to Rüthi where we met for a cozy dinner. It was fun and we didn’t want to leave. Fortunately, thanks to Yvonne’s hospitality, we didn’t have far to go to bed! So we arrived at the dog park on Sunday morning fit and in a good mood.

We set up our tent and soon Jana and Salo arrived with Lotta. We were very happy. This was to be Lotta’s first show, but certainly not her last. But more on that later.

We only had Curtis with us, the girls spent a lovely day with Susanne and Erika. Thank you very much for that!

So now to the CSS. What can we say! Curtis once again enchanted the judge and impressed with his professionalism in the ring. He ran through to BOB and also won his first club title. Club Junior Winner 2019 how great!!! After Diana now our second offspring with this title. But not only Curtis was convincing. Lotta and Jana had their appearance in the junior class and won it. Wow, how proud we are! Congratulations. Coming home with a trophy at the first show, that motivates to more!!! We are looking forward to it!!!!

In the evening we drove home proud and happy. We are especially proud of the judge’s words. Curtis really seems to be something very special!!!!

One week later the time had come! The first puppy meeting of Golden Swissline took place. We were delighted to see so many beagles and their families. We hadn’t seen many of them for a long time. There was a lot to chat about and the day flew by. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jürg and Hanny Leuthold once again for making this possible. The dog school was the perfect place for dogs and people. Thank you very much.

One of the obligatory CSS participations, whenever possible, is of course also that of the Austria Beagle Club! We were particularly looking forward to this show. On Saturday morning we set off for Upper Austria. The moated castle of Aistersheim was our destination. The famous banquet took place there in the evening. As every year, it was very festive and with fine food and drink!!!!

On Sunday, the exhibition was held in a knights’ hall, as the weather unfortunately didn’t cooperate. But that didn’t dampen the mood. This time we were there with 4 dogs. Nora spent the weekend with my parents. The rest of the pack came along. Curtis made the start! To our delight he won the junior class and thanks to this victory we can now apply for another junior champion.

Diana achieved together with Michi a V2res. CAC!!! The two of them are a great team. Then I was ready with Cassy!!! Cassy wins the Champions class and becomes best bitch!!! Wow!!! But that was not all. Michi still had something very special ahead of him. The first start in the veteran class with Audrey. And it’s really great, the two of them won the class!!! What a great joy!!!

So now we needed reinforcements for the BOB! Karina was also there and of course immediately ready to help. So we stood with 3 dogs in the BOB, what a feeling!!! Karina led Cassy to BOS, we were speechless!!! What a success!!! And as a nice finish she ran with Cassy and Curtis in the pair class to success!!! Best pair class 1!!! Wow, thank you so much!!!

What an exciting time!!! But it’s not getting any quieter yet! A lot is being planned and more shows have already been entered. We are really looking forward to it.
