Erfurt 2019

After many years we decided to go to Erfurt again. We didn’t want to lose sight of our goal of becoming champions with Cassy and now, of course, Curtis.

So we set off for Erfurt on Friday morning in beautiful sunshine. As always, the girls were on vacation with Erika and Susanne! Which they always really enjoy. This time Diana was even allowed to visit the CSIO in St. Gallen together with Billy. Which of course they both enjoyed very much. Thank you very much for that.

We arrived in Erfurt later that afternoon. We rented a great vacation apartment. But we probably weren’t going to spend much time there. But we didn’t know that until then.

Quickly unpacked everything! The dogs wanted to get out and about after the long drive. And then we went shopping. We were invited to the Kalberer family for a barbecue. So we set off for the fair on Friday evening. They were there with their camper van and were already waiting for us. The Hohl family was right next door. They had even set up a run for the dogs. So the dogs didn’t have to go back into the crate. It’s just great how you can easily integrate three strange dogs into an existing pack without any bitching. I love this breed!!!

After a delicious meal and some fun conversations, we made our way back to our apartment.

Then in the morning towards the trade fair! We were looking forward to the day. Cassy and Curtis were registered. So first, Curtis in the junior class. He was not only able to convince the judge. He was enthusiastic about the young man. This of course made me very happy. So Curtis opens the youth champion!!!

On with Cassy!!! She also ran her victory once again in a really very strong champion class!!! Wow, so cool!!! Blow after blow it went on. Cassy ran for the best bitch. Which she also won. So Michi still had the pleasure of exhibiting!!! A shirt was quickly organized and we were already in the ring together for BOB.

The judge took another close look at the dogs and then ran up to me!!!

BOB for Curtis!!!! Wow!!! But now it was still about the BOS!!! And Cassy won that. We were speechless!!! Curtis beat his mom for the first time at not even 11 months. What a feeling!

Unfortunately, he was no longer the judge’s type in the ring of honor. Despite a huge fan club!!!

We spent a nice evening with many friends at the motorhome site with a delicious meal.

Sunday was again very successful with the JBOB for Curtis. Cassy was also well placed with a V2. This was even enough for her to become champion. We found this out on the way home thanks to dear friends.

So, what more could you want. Cassy has completed her two German Champions and Curtis has also opened his Junior Champion.

Next stop, the EDS in Austria!!! Being there and meeting friends is the main thing. We are really looking forward to it. All preparations have been made. Next week it starts!!! See you soon!!!!!
