BEST in SHOW minor Puppy 1 for Diana and a placement for Cassy at the WDS Leipzig

WDS Leipzig, the largest world dog show of all time. 31000 dogs were entered. 319 beagles alone. All classes were strongly represented, with unbelievably great dogs.

We rented a vacation home together with Karina and Lucas and had a great time together.

It was a great experience to be there. At the great buffet after the show, we were able to chat with various breeders. We really enjoyed the time. Especially that we met Kuba and Meg again after a long time. It was with a heavy heart that we gave our beloved vacation guest Picco back to them. However, we are sure he will come to visit us again. We already miss him very much!!!!!

Cassy started in the working class with 18 bitches. As always, I could rely on her and we were able to secure a V4. What a success!!!

Full of pride we drove back to Switzerland on Friday!!!!

Like every year, Geneva had been on our show schedule for a long time. It was to be the first big show for our Diana. We took Cassy with us as support. As I unfortunately had to work again on Sunday, we decided to go on Friday and Saturday.

So we set off on Friday morning in the direction of Geneva. We arrived in Geneva at lunchtime without any traffic jams. The show didn’t start until 13:30 so we didn’t have any stress.

When we arrived at the hall, we met up with lots of friends. Bettina and Christine were staying in the same hotel, so we could look forward to a fun time in Geneva.

Unfortunately, the set-up took a while, so in the end it had to go pretty quickly for us. Despite the hectic pace, our girls did a great job in the ring. We are particularly pleased that Diana also had so much fun!!!

In the end we were able to go back to the hotel with a really great result.

Diana was placed with VV1 and Puppy Winner, unfortunately we had no luck in the ring of honor.

Cassy got another CACIB and BOS. Although after such a long wait she wasn’t as enthusiastic as usual!!!

We met up for dinner together and let the evening draw to a close with some fun conversations.

After a quiet night and a delicious breakfast, we set off again in convoy towards Palexpo! Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait so long this time, and you could see that in the girls.

Cassy was allowed into the ring with Michi today and I was responsible for the photos. I didn’t manage this very well, as I’m always on the edge of my seat and almost forgot to take photos!!!

Diana again like a little pro in the ring, VV1 puppy winner and also Cassy was in a great mood today and ran up to BOB!!! The joy was huge and we waited for the ring of honor.

Diana made the start. Minutes that we won’t forget in a hurry. She proudly enters the ring of honor and is presented perfectly by Michi. She enchanted the judge and won

We thought we were dreaming! Our own offspring is at the top of the podium among all these great puppies!!! We still need some time to realize this!!!

But there was more to come! Cassy was still waiting for the FCI group 6!!! This time we decided that I would go into the ring with Cassy!!! Cassy runs around the ring and showed everyone what she does best!!! Which put her in second place. We are speechless. With two big trophies and ribbons, we packed up our things and headed home!!!

Soon it will go on, next shows are planned and we are curious how Diana will develop further!!!
