The leaves are falling, it’s autumn!!!
At the beginning of October we went to Tulln for the Middle East European Winner Show!!! Only Cassy was registered because she still had a big task to complete!!!
We started a little later on Friday so we only made it as far as Freilassing. But as always, a warm bed was waiting for us there and so we managed to get some sleep until we continued on to Tulln at 5 a.m.
We arrived on time and met Lucas and Charly outside the halls!! As funny as always, we spent a great day at the show together.
Cassy started in the working dog class. Once again she impressed the judge and won the class!! It’s always a great pleasure to be in the ring with Cassy. She has become a real showgirl and literally runs her way to her victories!! She wins the CACIB and thus, after her huge success in Brussels, becomes Middle East European Winner and finally BOS!!! After this success, we were able to apply for the CIB and CIE for Cassy at the FCI at home. Happy, happy, happy!!!!!!
When we got home we were able to continue celebrating!!!! Audrey’s CIB was finally confirmed after a long 8 months of waiting. We are so proud and very happy for her. It all started with her 5 years ago. We never thought we would get this far. But that was still not all!! Just one day later there was more mail in the mailbox, this time from Austria!!!!!!
Cassy’s Alpine Champion title was confirmed and we received the certificate with a gold plaque. This champion title is something very special. It can only be won with 3 CACIBs from three countries at special shows. And Cassy is the first beagle ever to have the title confirmed. A success that no one can take away from us and that makes this champion so special!!!!
Now summer is definitely over!! All of our goals have been more than achieved and we have arrived in autumn. As every year, the focus is on hunting. We are looking forward to that, but of course the girls are especially looking forward to it. Tests are planned again and we will soon be heading back to Vienna. It is not just the tests that are important, but simply giving the dogs the opportunity to pursue their passion. There is nothing nicer than looking into the exhausted but so satisfied and happy eyes of our girls after a day of tests.
