Club winner show of the Swiss Beagle Club!!!
Aarau the show around the corner from us!!!
Like every year, we set off for Aarau on Sunday for a home game!! Nice for a change, not to have to travel for hours!!!
This year the Swiss Beagle Club used the facilities of the NHA Aarau to host the annual club championship show!! The atmosphere was great as always at the race track, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t really on our side this year!! Well equipped with a tent, we arrived relaxed in Aarau in the morning. With all the girls on board, only Cassy registered!! A lovely colleague of mine, Jelena, accompanied us that day with her daughter!! Thank you very much for your support!!!
The show started in pouring rain!! We hoped it would improve by the time we got to the youth start. And the weather was kind to us. It stopped raining for a moment and Cassy and I were able to get into the ring in a relatively dry moment!!
I am incredibly proud of our little witch, she was as confident in the ring as always and won her class with V1 JCAC. Unfortunately we couldn’t compete for the club winner, but she was in the ring again for the best junior and won that too!! Because of the high number of entries and the many eliminations, I was just able to enter the main ring with Cassy as the last one with all the best junior dogs of the day!! Close, but nothing ventured, nothing won!!!! And it was worth it!!
Cassy managed to impress the judge and was named Best Junior of Day 2!!!!
With an incredible feeling, we set off home overjoyed!! Thank you for all the kind congratulations and the lovely day that we were able to spend with many friends and acquaintances!!!
Our next trip will take us abroad again, this time with all three girls in the ring again!!!!
