A dream start to a dream vacation!!!!

We have waited a long time for these days. The long-awaited vacation was finally here. Finally back at the show and the test day for our girls is getting closer and closer. We have used the last 6 weeks at home to prepare ourselves as best as possible for the tracking test. But first we set off on Friday towards Innsbruck, where we also have a lot planned.

When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, we met up with friends for dinner. After a fun evening, we fell into bed tired and full of excitement about what the coming weekend would bring!!

Our hotel was only a few hundred meters from the exhibition center. So we were able to start the day comfortably. Many familiar faces and dear friends were already in the hall at the ring!! We were looking forward to a fun and exciting weekend!! It started at 11 a.m.!! First Cassy had her performance. However, she did not quite meet the judge’s taste. But she still got a great judge’s report. Nora did not have a good day. In the morning we noticed that something was wrong with her ears. She shook her head the whole time and didn’t like having her head touched. Unfortunately, the mouse only deserves a SG3. As our ear remedies didn’t help, we went to the vet. With the right remedies, things quickly got better!!! We ended the day with a cozy dinner!!

New day, new luck!!! And what this day had in store for us, no one dared to dream of!!!

Cassy” Alotorius Old Glory I See Fire wins the open class with V1/3 CACA and the CACIB with the Alpine winner and is best female!! At the end she also runs the BOS!!!!

With this great result she becomes Alpine Champion (preliminary Best.ÖKV)

Cassy is the first beagle ever to be allowed to bear this title!! We are incredibly proud of our little one, who always leaves us speechless!!!!

Audrey vom Rappenwald wins the working dog class with V1/3 CACA and the res. CACIB!!! With this hard-fought victory in the working dog class, she will become Austrian Champion (preliminary ÖKV Best)!!! What a successful day for us as owners, but also for Audrey’s breeders, who can celebrate the first Austrian Champion from Rappenwald.

This was of course celebrated and toasted extensively before the journey continued towards Wenns!!!!

Many friends who were also in Innsbruck accompanied us to Wenns. This will definitely be another dream holiday and great fun for the girls. This year, however, the focus is on Saturday, the tracking test!!! As every year, there was plenty of conviviality and the food was also top-notch!! The girls had great fun and were able to pursue their passion!!! Practice tracks were laid out for us and our gun resistance was tested every day. On Thursday we were all able to prove ourselves in air rifle shooting. There were great trophies to be won. Unfortunately, none for Michi!!!!
