A year full of surprises!
Our 2016 in summary!!!!
The past year will remain an unforgettable one for us. We spent many exciting and wonderful hours with our girls and lots of dear friends! We spent a lot of time training in the forest and also experienced many wonderful hunting moments.
Our year started with first successes in Nuremberg, Ljubljana and Brno. Shows that we like to visit every year! In Brno Audrey could successfully win her Czech Champion with a V1 CAC, res. CACIB successfully finished her Czech Champion!!!
In March Graz was still on the program. This time Nora was at the start. Her great performance was rewarded with an Excellent 1 CAC in the working class!!! Well done!!! Cassy ran once again up to BOS!!!
Then it was time!!! We made our way to Poland. We spent wonderful hours with Kuba, Meg and all their beagles. Of course the show in Katowice was the highlight of this weekend!!! Cassy showed great in the ring and was rewarded with the best working dog on both days. In the ring of honor Meg took over and won Best Working Dog in Show 2 and on Sunday even Best Working Dog in Show 1!!!! What a feeling, we were so proud of our Cassy!!! We decided to tackle the EDS project together and were already looking forward to seeing her again.
In May we were on vacation and at the same time preparing for the sweat test. Duke the male from our offspring accompanied us with Hans and Denise. Of course this makes us especially proud! As always, we spent some great days with the ABC in Stainz. Probably the most brilliant vacation for beagles and their owners!!!
Slowly it became summer and Aarau in June was announced. A home game for us and an always great organized show on a racecourse. Cassy BOB and Best in Group 2 and Audrey could also secure a CAC!!! What a success!!!!!
After a break in midsummer, but with a lot of training for show and hunting, we started again in Innsbruck!!! 3rd Alpine Winner title and BOS after Nuremberg and Kreuzlingen for Cassy and thus Alpine Champion as still the first and only Beagle!!! And thanks to Michi’s great performance with Audrey in the working class the Austrian Champion title for Audrey!!!! This is how a vacation can begin. Because immediately afterwards the hunting days Wels were on the program. Duke’s and Audrey’s successful welding tests were the crowning glory of the relaxing days in Tyrol! Once again, congratulations and many thanks to the Eberle family!!! We are so happy to have found you as friends and owners of Duke.
There wasn’t much time to catch our breath. We set off for Brussels on Thursday. EDS is here! We prepared for a long time and trained a lot. We were really looking forward to seeing lots of great dogs and meeting friends. As soon as we arrived in Brussels, we had a dinner date with Kuba and Meg. As always, we laughed a lot and had lots to talk about. The next morning we left early for the Expo! Wow, so many great dogs, we were proud to be there too. Cassy had the pleasure of being handled by Meg. It wasn’t until the afternoon that the time had come. The two of them went into the ring. Cassy and Meg are a dream team together. We have never seen our dog run like this before. Cassy took first place in the class. We thought we were dreaming!!! The res. CACIB and Best Working Dog in Breed also went to Cassy!!! We were incredibly proud!!! Like on clouds we drove back to Switzerland right after the show. The next day Karina and Lucas visited us and also Kuba and Meg will join us again on Sunday night. We all visited the Club Winner Show of the Swiss Beagle Club together.
As breeders, this day should be the day of the year. We mobilized our puppy buyers in advance to enter their dogs and we trained diligently together. But what the individual families have achieved with their pets at home makes us as breeders particularly proud! It is impossible to describe what a feeling it was that day to see our own offspring so perfectly presented in the ring. All three were placed in huge classes! Pheebee even with V2 res. CAC!!! And finally, we also won the coveted trophy for the best breeding group!!!! Probably the best proof to be on the right way!!! Cassy could finish with her victory, CAC, Club Winner, Best Mover, BOS the Swiss Show Champion and so it was an all-round successful weekend!!!!
In September we went again on a longer journey!!! Specialty Show of the Czech Beagle Club with a great Beagle judge moved us for it. Again with Karina and Lucas, fun was pre-programmed!!! But Cassy let it rip again. 70 Beagles entered and the BOB for Alotorius Old Glory I See Fire!!!!What a feeling!!! Sometimes you are just speechless!!! SHE IS ON FIRE!!!
In October again hunting tests took place! What an experience for our girls!!! All three passed the individual tests and were able to complete the working test in combination. We are really proud to have achieved this for the first time with all three of them. But it is really hard work!!! At the same time we found our dream house! Finally enough space for us and the girls and to move forward with our breeding plans!!! You can be curious. Some information can already be found under litter planning. The big move will take place in mid-January. Photos and information will definitely follow here!!!
So the year flew by and we have already arrived in December. Once again we traveled to Austria. There was still a destination to reach. What can I say. Cassy did not miss it and ended the show season with a BOB and BIG3!!!! And was thus able to complete the Austrian Champion title.
Now something very important remains at the end!!!! Thank you to everyone who always supports us, is happy for us and is there for us. It is not a matter of course and therefore we appreciate it very much! Many thanks to Meg and Kuba the breeders of Cassy!!! For your friendship and your trust in us!!! We are looking forward to an exciting 2017 together with you!!! Many thanks also to Gertrud and Axel, we are super proud of Audrey!!! Of course also a big thank you to Gabriele Vadi for our sweet Nora, who will always be very special to us!!!
Many thanks also to Karina and Lucas who are always with us with their two great boys!!! A very special friendship has developed and we are looking forward to our joint project in a few months!!!
Finally, but most importantly for us, thanks to our puppies people!!! Thank you so much for your love and the wonderful home you give to our sweeties!!! Thank you again for your support in the Project Club Show!!! You were great!!! And congratulations again to the Eberle family on their hunting successes with Duke!!!
