About us

We are Michael and Stefanie Geiger with our five beagles and our English Springer Spaniel, Flash. We all live together under one roof in beautiful Sulgen in Thurgau.
If you think this is a little crazy, you’re not far off the mark. But anyone who has a beagle knows what I’m talking about. A beagle is not just a beagle. That’s exactly how it all started in 2011.
We saw our Audrey in Austria at the Rappenwald kennel and fell in love immediately. She was the one, and no other. We were overjoyed, and no one could have predicted where it would all lead. Audrey grew into a confident and beautiful dog. Thanks to her breeder, we went to our first show. We enjoyed it so much that we decided a little later to allow Audrey to breed. That was our first litter in 2014.

The Beagle Club Austria has also brought us closer to the subject of hunting. Michi then decided to get his hunting license. It is very important to us to preserve the hunting instincts of Beagles, which is why all our dogs are hunting-certified. They love working in nature and can naturally pursue their passion there. What could be better than looking into the eyes of a tired but happy Beagle after it has successfully completed a hunt? We also continued to research the different lines and found our Cassy. She meets all our criteria and has more than convinced us in terms of both show and breeding. We celebrated our first major successes with her, and the big breakthrough came with the litter in 2018.
Curtis was born and turned our lives upside down once again. Not only is he almost perfect anatomically, but he is also simply an amazing male dog in terms of character. He is now one of the most successful male dogs in Europe. His daughter, who joined our pack in 2022, already became Junior World Winner in Geneva in 2023. He is passing on his genes, which makes us particularly happy.

Sadly, Cassy left us in the summer of 2025! The pain is still deep, and we miss her every day!! We are so incredibly grateful to her and happy to have Curtis and Vicky with us. We are excited to see what the next generation has in store for us!

As you may have already noticed, we don’t have one or, as some do, even two litters every year. This is because we place a high value on quality. Only when we have found the optimal pairing for us and can devote the necessary time is the litter produced. Our aim is to breed Beagle puppies that meet the standard to a high degree and have a friendly and cheerful disposition. We place great importance on health and select our pairings very carefully.
They are great family dogs but also good hunting companions for hunters. Maintaining this is very important to us.
We breed directly under the SKG, the umbrella organization in Switzerland. This is where we receive the most competent support, which also shares our values.
