An indescribable year draws to a close!!!!

We chose Wels in Austria as our last show for 2016. On the one hand, we were able to visit Michi’s parents again and meet our friends in Austria again before Christmas. We actually wanted to meet up again next weekend at the Austrian Beagle Club’s fantastic Christmas party, but another project got in the way. But more about that at a later date!

As so often, everything comes together and once again we were only able to leave at the last minute here in Switzerland. This time that meant Saturday morning at 2am. Seriously!!! We set off in the direction of Wels, we had to hurry because we had to get in at 8am!!! Everything went according to plan and we arrived at the site around half past eight. Already in the parking lot we met the first familiar faces. Krisztina and Stefan from Munich! Very dear friends who, like us, also like to spend their free time at dog shows!!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Krisztina once again for her support. Despite the usual stress in the morning, she took the time to get our Cassy ready. She runs a great dog salon in Munich and is also very successful at international championships! A real master of her craft. You can find her contact details under Links!

This is how we finished the morning!!! Since 50 beagles were entered, it took until noon until we had to enter the ring with Cassy!!! We were excited. Cassy still had one task open for this year. Just like Nora, who we had also entered on Sunday. Both in the same class as both only needed one more win in the working class. And what can we say!!!

As always, Cassy showed her best side this weekend. On Saturday she won the CACIB and thanks to the victory in the working class she is now also Austrian Champion ( preb. Best ÖKV )

On Sunday together with Nora in the ring. We are proud of Nora, who showed a great performance. However, hunting in the forest or field is rather what she enjoys.

But Cassy was on top form and enchanted the judge of the day!!! 53 Beagles entered and our Cassy wins BOB!!! What a way to end an already great year. And to top off the day, we were able to take home third place in the ring of honor with a big trophy for Michi!!!!

We are incredibly happy and proud of our Cassy! She always manages to wrap people around her finger and win them over. She simply has that certain something, something you often look for but rarely find. The photo with the judge shows exactly these emotions! That’s why it is THE PHOTO of the weekend for us.

Once again we are very grateful to the breeders Kuba and Meg for this unique bitch and their trust in us. We are looking forward to the future together and to an exciting 2017!!!
