Curtis successfully completes his GP!!!!
Some time has passed since our last report. Despite Corona, there is always something going on. We spend a lot of time with our puppies’ families and really enjoy watching them grow up. We’ve already been on a few trips together and there are already exciting things in the pipeline.
For example, we took some of the puppies from the last two litters to ring training with Laura Hitz. It was great fun, especially for the children. Which made us very happy. Now, of course, we hope that they will continue to train diligently at home and that they will soon be able to show what they have learned at a show.
The GP of Curtis was also an important goal that we had set ourselves for this year. So we reserved two more weekends in October so that we could travel to Austria. The Brackier test still had to be completed. But Corona once again threw a spanner in the works, or rather the BAG!!! The new list of countries with quarantine regulations was online and we were shocked to see that these were exactly the federal states we actually wanted to travel to. We quickly got in touch with the ABC to look for an option. Fortunately, there was one! However, the exam took place a week later. Everything had to be reorganized and we were able to leave on Friday evening. It was 1 a.m. when we finally arrived at the hotel. We quickly got a few hours’ sleep before the exam started.
As soon as we got up, we noticed how windy it was outside. And this was confirmed. The wind was getting stronger and stronger and the conditions for the dogs were really not to be underestimated. However, all the dogs in my group performed well and we were all back with our dogs in time for lunch. We were very happy! Curtis had completed his GP with this performance and even with a super 2nd prize. We are mega proud!
At the end of September Curtis became dad again to 8 beautiful puppies in Switzerland. We would like to thank Patrick and Andrea Wanner from Kennel Zorigi for their trust in Curtis. We are really looking forward to the puppies!!!
Now we enjoy the beautiful fall and wait and see what happens!!! Some things are planned but the situation makes us more spontaneous at the moment.
Stay healthy and see you soon!!!!
