IHA Ljubljana 2016
The series of successes continues!!!!!!
After the fantastic start to the 2016 show season in Nuremberg, Ljubljana was just around the corner at the weekend!! We had a lot planned here with our girls too!! So we set off for Slovenia on Thursday, excited and full of anticipation for a great show weekend!!
The first night was at Michi’s parents’. That meant we didn’t have to stress about driving the rest of the way on Friday. As Cassy was registered for Champions of Champions that evening!!!!
After arriving at the great hotel, after a short break we headed straight to the Festival Hall, where the show will take place. Everything was superbly decorated and there was a very special atmosphere. Everyone was excited!! Cassy started in the Junior Champions, and for us being there was everything. But as so often, Cassy rocked the ring and made it into the last 10 dogs out of 58!!!! Wow wow, we were so proud!!!!!!!
Happy but totally exhausted, we fell into bed after all the impressions!!!
The next day: CACIB Show Ljubljana, with our girls Cassy and Nora there!!
Cassy convinced the judge and was rewarded with V1CAC!!!
Nora got a SG3, she did a great job. We are super proud of what Nora has already achieved!! Unbelievable when you look back two years!!! We stick to it, you can do it!!!!!
After the show, we immediately packed our things and quickly drove to the hotel!! The weather was dreamy. Sun with blue skies!!! Ideal for a long walk and a bit of sightseeing!! Ljubljana is a beautiful city!! Towards the evening, we suddenly met friends from Austria at the hotel. What a coincidence!! We spent a fun evening together!!!!
Then on Sunday we competed again with our two girls!! Both with excellent placings!! I’m so proud!! But Cassy really wanted to know again!!!! She also got the CACIB, the Slovenia Winner and the BOS!!!

It’s hard to believe, at not even 20 months old Cassy has already met all the requirements for the C.I.B and the C.I.E. Now she just needs time!!! A year ago she was still a little worm in the puppy class!!!! How quickly time flies!!! We are excited to see what happens next and incredibly happy to have her with us!!!
The next shows are just around the corner and we have a lot planned for hunting in 2016 too!!! It will be exciting!!!
One very important thing at the end!!! Stella has found a wonderful family!!! We have already received the first photos and she looks super happy!! Many thanks at this point to the Beagle Club Switzerland, who helped so quickly and easily!!!
