In the footsteps of your father “Quincy”
An unforgettable weekend in Nitra
We set off on Friday, Nitra was to be our destination for the weekend. Unfortunately Michi couldn’t join us this time, so Carmen, a good friend from work, accompanied me. So I didn’t have to drive the long distance to Slovakia alone.
We set off at lunchtime and arrived at the hotel in the evening without any major problems. Michaela and Helmut were already waiting for us with their boys. Tired from the long drive, we quickly went to bed and were excited to see what surprises this weekend had in store for us.
This weekend was Cassy’s first start in the youth category, I was excited to see how she would cope with this task, I would never have dared to dream of the outcome!!!!
As always, Nora and Audrey were also at the start.
We didn’t have to wait long and off we went! Michaela was able to win the classes with all her boys and both days Quincy and Cody became best male!!!! Congratulations!!!! Also Dreamy the pretty blond Brazilian could win both days in the youth class!!!! Well done Dreamy!!!!
Then it started with my girls!
Cassy as always had fun in the ring and won both days the junior class!!!
Audrey as always great to handle in the ring achieved 2nd and 3rd excellent place this weekend. She did a great job. I am also happy with Nora’s performance, she achieved a very good 2nd place!!! We remain diligent and continue to train!!!
Since our two youngest in the show team each won the junior class, we decided to wait for the ring of honor!!! And the wait was more than worth it!!!
After a long wait we entered the ring of honor together. A great feeling!!!!
When Cassy was selected as one of the top three, it was more than perfect for me. I am so proud of the 9-month-old mouse, she did sooo well.
The judge Dr. Vlado Piskay placed Cassy in 1st place!!! I couldn’t believe it!!!
The young lady goes her way, just like her famous father Quincy. First show in junior class and immediately Best Junior of FCI group 6!!!
Now we are curious what the future has in store for us!!!
The next tasks are already waiting for us!!!
