An unforgettable week in Denmark!!!!
We have been looking forward to this vacation for a long time! Now the time has finally come!
We set off at 2 o’clock at night. We wanted to be at the meeting point on time and end the day comfortably in Denmark. But unfortunately everything turned out a little differently than planned!
Even before our agreed meeting point after Hanover, we were stuck in a traffic jam. So, with a good hour’s delay, we were finally able to welcome Michaela and Helmut with their Beagle dogs Maxi and Finn. The joy was great, especially for our girls. However, the romp had to be postponed as we were already late anyway. The journey continued quickly with even more traffic jams until we got the keys to our vacation home just in time at 6 pm.
After setting up the fantastic vacation home with its own pool house, we rounded off the day with a great barbecue. The stresses and strains of the day were quickly forgotten.
We spent the week as we pleased. Lots of activities for our dogs. Denmark is a paradise. Countless dog forests invite you to go for a walk, where our hunter Audrey was also allowed to run free. What fun!!!
The beach was 200m from our vacation home. Beautiful and almost deserted, so that our pack could romp around without a guilty conscience. And afterwards they always slept soundly. It must be exhausting to run through the sand like that!!!
We also had a good time. We worked up an appetite with a round of mini golf and then had a great meal in one of the many lovely fish restaurants at the harbor.
The week in Denmark brought us and our dogs even closer together. We had great conversations and laughed a lot.
