This year we chose the club winner show of the CZ Beagle Club to kick off the year.

We set off at midday on Friday. But before that we made a quick stop at Erika and Susanne’s. Since only Curtis and Cassy were traveling with us, the rest of the pack was allowed to take a vacation with Billy. The girls always enjoy this time very much! Thank you very much.

Unfortunately it was a bit late, so when we arrived we only had time for a walk with Lucas and Charly before we fell into bed dead tired. But we were all looking forward to the next day, as we hadn’t seen each other for ages.

The show was right in the hotel itself. So we were able to take it easy in the morning. First we had a hearty breakfast and then prepared everything for the show day.

The judge was Toke Larsen from Denmark and we were very excited. Curtis started in the puppy class. As always, he showed himself to be very confident. Still a bit playful, but at just 7 months old you can still be. The judge took his time and each dog received a very detailed report. Curtis won his class, we were very proud!!!!

Cassy was entered in the Champions class. So we had some time! Great dogs were entered here and all classes were well filled. A total of 65 beagles were entered.

Then Cassy was at the start!!! As always, I could rely on her. She moves around the ring like a pro and with so much fun. She also won the strong Champions class. Then it went on. The decision about the club winner. Cassy was in the lead right to the end. In the end, however, it just wasn’t enough. But we were more than satisfied with her performance.

Curtis also had another appearance in the final elimination! It was about the Best PUPPY!!!

He showed his best side again and was able to convince the judge. We proudly accepted the great rosette. The young male surprises us again and again.

Happy and totally satisfied, we made our way home. Despite the distance, it was definitely worth it. Great people, great prizes and we got to see Lucas again.

Now we are looking forward to the next shows and there is a lot to do! You can be curious!!!
