Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
We are proud to announce that since Valentine’s Day our girls are proud moms of sugar-sweet puppies. As expected, Cassy gave birth to her puppies on the night of Valentine’s Day. We are incredibly proud of how she managed the birth despite the heavy weights of the first three puppies and we are very happy about 6 dark tricolor dwarfs. 3 females and 3 males!!! We have been in love since day one and are looking forward to the further development of the puppies.
Diana didn’t give us much time to catch our breath. She actually gave us the first signs on Friday morning that she would soon be ready to go. However, this was delayed, which cost her a lot of energy. Then, on Saturday evening, the first contractions finally started. This showed us as breeders for the first time that it’s not all good news. Unfortunately, the first puppy was born mute and there was nothing more we could do for him. We tried everything before we had to admit it to ourselves. It was also a difficult situation for Diana. The first puppy and having to go through such a sad experience. We tried to support her as much as possible and so things went on quickly and Diana gave birth to a beautiful bicolor bitch. The joy was huge and Diana took great care of the little mouse. Then, unfortunately, there were further complications and we immediately decided to go to the clinic. Unfortunately, the vet was only able to save two of the three puppies and we drove home with the little family early in the morning, a little sad but also happy. Miriam was already waiting for us at home. In the meantime, she took care of Cassy and her puppies. She was also relieved to see that her mother was doing well and was delighted with the three cute little ones. They are a bicolored pair and a male in tricolour!!!
After all the excitement, we are now enjoying the time with our moms and their puppies. It is incredibly nice to see how lovingly Diana and Cassy look after the little ones. Cassy’s puppies have already opened their eyes on Sunday. Time passes so quickly and the little ones are growing.
We would like to thank everyone for their sympathy and congratulations. Especially to Miriam who stood by our side during this turbulent and sad time.
As always, you can follow the further development under the litters D- and E-. There you can also see the latest photos.
Since we already have a lot of families for the puppies in the shortlist. We cannot and do not want to accept any more applications.
