The Weekend in Wels
On Friday afternoon, the day of Santa Claus, we made our way to Michaela and her boys in Lower Bavaria. We were looking forward to a few nice days together at her place. Good food and lots of fun for our beagles were at the top of the list. But there was something else!
In the early evening, Michaela and her boys greeted us loudly in the yard!!! Our beagles have already grown into a real pack and get along really well. The joy was great, and so we romped around for a while. We had a nice meal and then fell into bed tired.
Early at 6 o’clock we went to Wels. There the double CACIB show took place this weekend!!! We were at the start with our girls. Michaela’s boys are already in the Christmas break! They have earned it!!!! So Michaela and Helmut accompanied us to Wels as spectators and support. We were excited to see what this weekend would bring us. A rollercoaster of emotions is the right expression for it!
Saturday:
Nora wins the intermediate class with V1/4 CACA !!! She did really great !!! We are very proud of our little mouse. We also know how incredibly difficult it is for her to show herself in the ring.
Audrey is placed in the working class with V4. As always, she did a great job. She has already become a little pro.
Sunday:
Nora shows her bad side today. Unfortunately the judge was not able to judge her gait and she was not presented well by me. Therefore the rating Good is justified for this performance. It was probably a bit too much for the little mouse.
Audrey is placed in the working class with SG3. But she did a great job.
Filu was also entered in the Champions class on Sunday and was placed in the strong class with V4. Congratulations!!!!!
So an exciting and instructive weekend came to an end. It was great to meet so many nice people again at the last show of the year. We laughed a lot and spent a wonderful Santa Claus day with Micha, Helmut and their boys.
Now people in Bavaria also know Santa Claus and his companion Schmuzli!!!!
